Feeling Blahhhh!

So, here's the deal. I've been feeling really down and out and blahhh lately. Due to these feelings, I've also been eating like a horse, gaining weight, and feeling YUCKY! So, tonight as I dug into my bowl of Pad Thai noodles, I decided that this would be the last bad meal I would try to eat. I just feel like there needs to be a change in my life and rather than sit here and think that it's going to fall into my lap, I'm going to start by changing me! So, I figure if I'm super honest with myself on this blog, it will help me change things and take thing into perspective. Starting tomorrow, I begin life as the new me. Wish me luck.

Now you all know how much I enjoy cooking, but I wanted to introduce to you my other favorite craft: Knitting. A few weeks ago, while watching the Rachel Zoe Project on Bravo, I spotted this sweater and knew I wanted to replicate it.
aa
The sweater itself is from Antonio Azzulo's Spring 2009 line, but I love it. So, I've started knitting away and so far I have the back completed, as you can see here
Freestyle
I've also completed the front, but after blocking it (which means washing it and stretching it into shape by pinning it for all you non-knitters) I noticed one navy stripe wider than the rest, which means I have to go back and fix it. I'm also working on completing the sleeves 2 at a time, but am quite certain that I will run out of yarn, which is why I went ahead and placed an order for 2 more skeins. Hopefully, I will have a finished project soon, which I plan to give to my cousin Ali, in return he promised to model it for me and to take pictures... woohoo! Finally, just in case you were wondering what type of yarn I was using, it's from Knitpicks' Telemark line in Dove Heather and Navy. I love these two colors together and the wool is great.

So, here's to tomorrow where hopefully changes will start to take place to help me feel better about myself. Talk to you all very soon... :o)
